Asus, Lenovo and Razer among the firsts to launch gaming laptops running new Intel Tiger Lake mobile processors

Intel has finally unveiled its H-series Tiger Lake 11th-generation mobile processors. Catered to gamers and content creators, these latest mobile processors – 5 consumer and 5 commercial – look set to take on AMD’s Ryzen 500 mobile series that are making waves since its launch earlier this year.

The new Intel processors are said to provide up to 19 per cent performance improvement over its 10th-generation Comet Lake predecessor. Since Intel’s announcement, many PC makers have unleashed their wares featuring these latest chips.

For instance, Razer has unveiled its new Blade 15 Advanced Model (starting from S$3,799, pre-order from Razer Store) that is armed with this latest H-Series processor (up to an Intel Core i9). It is also packed with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30-Series graphics card (from RTX 3060) and a 15-inch display with up to 360Hz refresh rate.

At the same time, Asus also unveiled Zephyrus M16 gaming laptop that will be running on these new processors. It will configurable from RTX 3050 graphics card with its 16-inch WQXGA 165Hz display. But local pricing and availability are not available yet.

In addition, Lenovo has launched new gaming laptops running the new processors in Legion 7i and 5i Pro. The Legion 7i laptops come with processors up to the flagship Intel Core i9-11980HK, graphics card up to Nvidia RTX 3080 and 16-inch display with refresh rate of 165Hz.

On the other hand, the Legion 5i Pro’s top variant comes with the Intel Core i7-11800H chip with an Nvidia RTX 3070 and a 16-inch 165Hz display. Local pricing and availability of the new Legion Tiger Lake models are not available yet as well.
