CES 2022: Samsung launches a small projector called The Freestyle and new TVs

In CES 2022, Samsung announced the launch of an all-new portable entertainment device called The Freestyle.

It is a projector, smart speaker and ambient lighting rolled into one lightweight and portable device. The cylindrical device weighs only 830g but yet it is able to project 1080p images up to 100 inches. Its versatile cradle allows rotation of up to 180 degrees, so you can project any videos you like to watch anywhere from walls to ceilings.

The Freestyle features a dual passive radiator said to deliver clean and deep bass, while its 360-degree sound radiation lets you have a cinema-quality sound experience. Finally, The Freestyle also offers mood lighting effects as well as projecting visual effects based on the music played.

In the US, The Freestyle is already opened for pre-order at a price US$899.99. In Singapore, it will be available on Feb 23 for S$1,499. You can register your interest for The Freestyle in Singapore here.

Meanwhile at CES 2022, Samsung also launched a new lineup of TVs. They include Micro LED TVs that come in sizes of 89 inches, 101 inches and 110 inches. In addition, the new Neo QLED TVs are said to provide the most pristine images and immersive sound, thanks to its Neo Quantum processor and Object Tracking Sound system.

Samsung’s art frame-like TV, The Frame, is said to offer realistic museum-like art viewing experience by using anti-glare and low-reflection panel technology. It is also resistant to fingerprints and smudges. The Frame will come in sizes ranging from 32 inches to 85 inches. The Samsung 2022 TV lineup is expected to be available in Singapore in the second quarter of this year.
