JBL marks its 75th birthday with two new products

Renowned audio brand, JBL, will be celebrating its 75th birthday this month. And in conjunction with the brand’s three-quarter of a century existence, JBL will be launching two new products – Charge 5 and Tour Pro+ TWS – near the end of this year.

The JBL Charge 5 is the latest addition to its popular portable speaker Charge series. The Charge 5 is said to deliver bold JBL Original Pro Sound, with its optimised long excursion driver, separate tweeter and dual JBL bass radiators.

Blessed with a 7,500mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, you can enjoy up to 20 hours of playback and even use it to charge your smartphone. With its IP67 water-proof and dust-proof rating, you do not have to fear this Bluetooth speakers getting any damage when you relax by the pool side or at the beach.

While the Charge 5 is built for leisure, the new JBL Tour Pro+ TWS is designed for the busy business professionals. It features Adaptive Noise Cancellation, said to block out excessive noises while adjusting to a suitable level of background noise for you to stay aware of your surroundings. Ideal for those who are always on the go.

Armed with various technologies such as Adaptive Ambient Aware and TalkThru technology, this pair of true wireless in-ear headphones lets you attend to quick calls while commuting or join video conferences in office swiftly. Its 3-microphone beamforming array technology also allows you to be heard clearly wherever you are.

The JBL Charge 5 (S$279) and Tour Pro+ TWS (S$299) will be available at authorised retailers and JBL Online Store from either Nov or Dec 2021 onwards.
